Wadi Al Amardi Farm

Fifty Varieties of Crops and Animals You Can Actually Touch

Wadi Al Amardi is an Emirati-owned organic farm in Al Khawaneej that feels like a world away from Dubai. Shaded paths, greenhouses, animal shelters, and over 50 varieties of crops — staff guide you through the whole thing, which keeps small children engaged far longer than you'd expect. The animals are the highlight for most kids, feeding and petting them is genuinely interactive, and there is a playground for when everyone needs a break.

We celebrated my son's 5th birthday here and it was one of the best decisions we made — the farm is set up for events and it feels personal in a way a restaurant never quite does. On the way out, pick up eggs, honey, or whatever is in season from the farm shop.

Entry is AED 40 per person, under-3s free, and the farm is open October to April. Most families spend 2 to 4 hours. No reservations needed — just turn up.

Insider tip: the farm is a brilliant birthday venue for small children — if you are considering it, get in touch with them directly to arrange it.
