Free Turtle Feeding in Dubai, Every Wednesday at 11am

The Dubai Turtle Rehabilitation Project at Jumeirah Al Naseem is a rescue lagoon where injured sea turtles recover before returning to the ocean. It is free to visit, no booking is needed, and it is calm in a way that few family outings in Dubai manage to be. Every Wednesday at 11am there is a public feeding session of about 20 minutes, which the kids especially love. It is also a gentle way to show them how wildlife is cared for.

Plan on 30 to 45 minutes for the visit. Valet parking is available with a minimum spend, or you can use the nearby metered parking or the Madinat Souq parking. Opening times and feeding sessions can change, so please check before you go.

Insider tip: the feeding wraps up before noon, and [MayaBay] opens for lunch at 12pm, right beside the same lagoon. It makes an easy turtles-then-lunch morning.
