Buhais Geology Park

Buhais Geology Park is one of those places in the UAE that feels completely different from everything else — quiet, dramatic, and full of ancient history hidden in the landscape.

Located in Sharjah’s rocky Jebel Buhais area, the park takes you through millions of years of Earth’s story, from prehistoric marine fossils to archaeological finds from early human settlements. The futuristic visitor centre and outdoor trails make it both educational and visually striking, especially for older kids who love rocks, fossils, and science-style discoveries.

Friday: 2:00pm – 7:30pm
Saturday: 11:00am – 7:30pm

It’s best to visit in the cooler months or later in the day, as the surrounding landscape is open and exposed.
