Beehive Tombs

One of the most incredible historical sites in the UAE

The Beehive Tombs at Jebel Hafeet in Al Ain date back around 5,000 years to the Bronze Age, part of the ancient Umm an-Nar culture. These stone burial structures, scattered across the foothills of the mountain, are believed to have held multiple people and offer a rare glimpse into early life, trade, and burial traditions in the region.

What makes it even more special is the setting — vast desert plains, dramatic mountain views, and rows of ancient tombs stretching into the distance. It feels almost untouched, with very few visitors most of the time.
